Composer, conductor, intermedia artist.

He began studying piano with M° Daniele Paris, and subsequently with M° Roberto Pregadio and M° Francesco Martucci. He attended Directing and Acting courses at the Italian Academy of Theatre in Rome, graduating in 1987. He started composing music while working on music production for RAI within M° Piero Pintucci's team, concurrently beginning his studies in composition with M° Giovanni Piazza. He graduated with top marks in Composition and Electronic Music, and obtained Master Degree in Orchestra Conducting and Composition with honors, studying under M° Antonio Poce, with whom he collaborated within the Hermes Intermedia collective. Additionally, he attended specialization courses at the Chigiana Academy in Siena, the Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, and IRCAM in Paris.

As a conductor, he has focused his activity on baroque and contemporary repertoire, conducting, among others, the Orchestra Nova Amadeus, the Cameristi del San Carlo, the New Music Ensemble, the New York New Music Ensemble, the Divertimento Ensemble, the Orchestra i Pomeriggi Musicali, and the Ensemble of the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara. He has composed music included in the RAI repertoire and used in numerous radio and television broadcasts, including Terzo Anello (RadioTre), Ballarò, Servizio Pubblico, and Annozero.

He was a guest composer at NYU - Steinhardt University in New York, where he held workshops focused on his works. He is currently head of the Department of the School of Electronic Music and professor of Electroacoustic Composition and Audiovisual Composition at the Conservatory Music "Santa Cecilia" in Rome.
